Although not a contractor by trade, I’m a licensed homebuilder and I love to build houses, decks, and remodel. I find construction to be very meditative and after a long day at work dealing with complex problems sometimes building things helps me clear my mind and refocus.

I also enjoy some of the emerging technologies in construction, such as Insulated Concrete Forms (IFC), Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs), Geothermal, and radiant.
